Turning 6 is a V-E-R-Y big deal. Being the hockey lover that he is, I thought my son would wish for something hockey related. That was not the case. Instead, he asked to meet Winter the Dolphin at Clearwater Marine Aquarium (the star from Dolphin Tale).
Winter and I tweeted back-and-forth about his birthday visit, she was excited to wish him a Happy Birthday!
On the morning of his birthday, he was quieter than usual (perhaps butterflies in his tummy). He could not wait to get up close and personal with his favorite dolphin. After watching her physical therapy session, it was our turn to meet Winter.
Needless to say, he had an amazing birthday visiting Winter and her pals. He also enjoyed playing at Sandkey Beach and eating some delicious seafood. But, his time with Winter took the cake, he will NEVER forget that moment. She even tweeted a happy birthday message afterwards.
