CureSearch Walk For Children’s Cancer at Lake Eola

CureSearch Walk For Children’s Cancer at Lake Eola

If you are seeking a deserving cause to participate in and/or donate to, look no further! Take a moment and think about cancer and its devastating effects. Now, imagine an innocent child receiving this frightening diagnosis. We must find a cure!

The CureSearch Walk for Children’s Cancer is an opportunity for family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, corporate supporters and community members to come together to honor those whose lives have been affected by children’s cancer, while raising funds for life-saving research.

There will be two ceremonies – the first is a butterfly release to honor those children who have lost their fight with cancer, and the second is a medal ceremony to recognize children in treatment and adults and children that are pediatric cancer survivors.

Each walker will receive a green bandana on walk day, representing their journey with childhood cancer.

I participated with Team No Fear Just Faith last year (click here for photos) and it was an event I’ll never forget! These children are true heroes! To donate to my 2012 virtual team, please click here

If you’re interested in walking with these little heroes, you can register here. Event details are as follows:

Date: April 14, 2012
