Family Fun At LEGOLAND Florida

Family Fun At LEGOLAND Florida

SO MUCH FUN…that is the only way to describe our family adventure at LEGOLAND Florida this past Sunday! The park was empty, so we walked on all the rides! A few years back, we visited LEGOLAND (after the grand opening) and they had some kinks to work out (parking and concession lines were enormous). We were thrilled our recent visit was nothing like our first experience. Also, our little guy is now 5, so he was able to ride everything which made the experience much more exciting.

I only wish the park was closer, it’s an hour drive from Winter Park to Winter Haven. Our boy kept saying “are we still in Florida“. Before hitting the road, my husband and I equipped ourselves with Starbucks coffee and Spotify so our road trip would be more enjoyable. We did pass several antique stores along the way, so on our next trip to LEGOLAND we will stop!

We arrived before the park opened at 9:30 a.m. and left around 3:30 p.m. when a storm passed through. But, in those 6 hours we were able to experience pretty much everything LEGOLAND had to offer (minus the water park). We admired all the lego creations in Miniland USA and throughout the park, jumped on almost all rides with no wait, watched shows, strolled through Cypress Gardens, enjoyed Granny’s Apple Fries and ice cream, built LEGO cars and raced them, played games, etc. Overall, it was a great day of family fun!

Here are some photos from our adventure! We created memories that will last a lifetime! BOTH of my boys rode big coasters which made me very proud. Usually I ride solo, but we had a break through at LEGOLAND!

I recommend reviewing the “know before you go” section and schedule before planning a visit to LEGOLAND and/or LEGOLAND Water Park.

Here is my Experience Kissimmee write-up after our first trip in November 2011.
