Advice to those attending:
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. You will be walking a lot and mostly on dirt/grass surfaces.
- Check the weather. It’s supposed to be stormy this weekend, so pack an umbrella and prepare for mud.
- If you are bringing a little one, consider using a stroller that can maneuver easily in dirt/grass.
- If you get hot, hit the inside air-conditioned booths to cool off.
- Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water (don’t worry, there are plenty of facilities).
- Bring along a picnic lunch or enjoy the concessions for sale. The kettle corn is amazing!
- Be patient. This event draws a huge crowd. Take your time and enjoy all the treasures available for sale.
- Make best offers! Keep in mind, exhibitors would prefer to sell their merchandise instead of packing it away!
