Free Apple iPhone – Scam Email To Craigslist Sellers

I received the following message twice in response to a Craigslist ad I have listed.

Excuse me <my email address>,

Are you authentic? Your post has been luckily picked out by our company and you’ve won a white Apple iPhone 4 in return of a simple servey, will you be interested? If yes you must authenticate below within 68 hours or else you’ll be disaqualified. Enjoy!

The email address this came from is:  Denn Dupoux <dennrcu@hotmail.com>. The subject line was my exact Craigslist listing.

I find it hysterical that these scammers didn’t bother to use spell check!

If you receive a similar message, do not click on the links provided. These scammers are phishing for your personal information.

Here are additional Craigslist scams I have shared. Make sure you familiarize yourself with these and don’t fall for them.
