For Day 19 of #30DaysOfCaring, the focus is on Mended Little Hearts, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization providing hope, help and healing to heart patients and their families since 1951.
Mended Little Hearts relies on the support of individuals, corporations and foundations to help provide hope and support to thousands of children with congenital heart defects and their families and caregivers.
The Mended Little Hearts program works nationally and in communities to support children with congenital heart defects and their families.
Mission: To empower families affected by congenital heart defects (CHDs).
Vision: All families affected by pediatric CHDs are able to share experiences and resources as members of a nationwide peer-to-peer support network.
