eBay Thank You Note

Make sure to enclose a thank you note inside your eBay package. Also, personalize it by writing in the buyer’s name or eBay id.

Here’s my template, tweak it to fit your needs.

Dear (write in the buyer’s ID or name),

Thank you for your eBay purchase! Once you receive your item, please remember to leave positive feedback! I will do the same for you in return.

Also, make sure to bookmark (Your Seller ID) as a favorite seller.

Thank you again, it has been a pleasure doing business with you. If you have any questions, please contact me directly at (your email address).

Regards,

(Your Seller ID)

I paste the above into a one-page Word document (3 or 4 will fit on one sheet depending on how you set up the margins).  Cut them and use for each item you sell.

This enclosure is not only a nice gesture, but it also reminds the buyer to leave feedback about their purchasing experience. Also, if for some reason they had an issue with the transaction, they know to contact you directly instead of leaving neutral or negative feedback.

A great idea! It’s the little things that make the biggest impact. The personal touch often results in being tagged as a “favorite seller” in my ebay account! Cheers!

I’ve always sent a hand written note that reads:

    HI!

Thanks for your purchase! Please contact me with any concerns before leaving feedback, other wise positive feed back is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to your next purchase from “Another Time Round”

    Have a great day!

Thanks for sharing this! Someone just bid on one of my auctions and this will be my first time selling and I need the extra boost for my first feedback.

I am new to selling, any other pointers or websites to give me that boost to make it more profitable.. IE where to buy the best/cheapest packing materials, best/cheapest way to ship, how long to wait after item ends to invoice the buyer, best ways to get a quality image of small items such as rings etc (i have a sony DSC-W80)

Thanks in advance – All input good or bad is helpful in some way so please feel free!
