Spiraling Out of Control – Plastic in Our Oceans Infographic

Every year, 6.4 million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean. We’ve produced more plastic in the last ten years than we produced in the entire last century! This abuse of plastic has led to a collection of plastic marine debris known as “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch” spanning from North America to Japan.
