On The Go With #Medifast Week 10

One of the most frequently asked questions I receive about Medifast is how convenient is it? There seems to be concern about staying on plan while at work or away from home. I am currently on a hockey trip which requires staying in a hotel for 4 days and 3 nights (and spending a LOT of time inside an ice rink) yet I haven’t had a problem. Sure it takes a little planning, but as long as Medifast meals are packed and you order healthy lean and green options then there’s nothing to worry about.

LeanAndGreenOptions
Lean and green option 1 (top): Garden salad with light Ranch dressing and blackened grouper (held the bun and asked for sauce on side). Lean and green option 2 (bottom): Local organic salad with grilled chicken. Vinaigrette dressing on the side.

Some of my favorite packable Medifast meals consist of Ready-to-Drink shakesbarsbites, pretzels and puffs; and cereal crunch. Medifast meals can be easily made by stirring the meal packet with water. So, if you have access to a microwave and water…then you have even more options to bring along! All meals can be viewed here.

This past week, I changed to the 4&2 plan versus sticking with the 4&2&1. My hope was to see the scale move since I’ve been stuck for a few weeks. Basically what that means is I eliminated 1 healthy snack from my diet. I have not stepped on a scale for 2 days since I’m on the road, but at that time it showed a 2 lb loss! Below is my breakdown.

Month 1: down 13.6 lbs

Month 2: down 6.2 lbs

Week 9: no change

Week 10: down 2 lbs

Total loss to date: 21.8 lbs

Total inches lost in 2 months: 19 inches
