Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation #30DaysOfCaring Day 21

Day 21 of #30DaysOfCaring is all about Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. This foundation is a nonprofit fighting childhood cancer, one cup at a time.

Alexandra “Alex” Scott was born on January 18, 1996. She was the second of four kids in her family. When she was just a baby, she was diagnosed with a kind of cancer called neuroblastoma. When Alex was 4 years old, she decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise money for her hospital, so the doctors could help other kids with cancer. She asked other people to help by holding their own stands too.
