Feed The Need Winter Park: Happy Hour For Hunger

I post about Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida A LOT because it is a cause that changes lives! Last year, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida distributed more than 36 million pounds of grocery product (equivalent to more than 24 million meals)! That’s amazing.

When Kids Have No Food We Have No Choice! The number of people seeking food assistance in our community continues to rise. Today, 187,940 children struggle with hunger – an 8.9% increase over last year. In response to this growing need, the Winter Park community is renewing its effort to end hunger in Central Florida.

Tomorrow, join the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce for a fall-themed happy hour at the Winter Park Village.  All ticket proceeds will benefit Feed the Need Winter Park, a community-wide effort to raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida this November.
