Located on south east grassy area of Lake Eola Park

Animal Services works with approximately 70 rescue partners that aid in the recovery and adoption of many homeless animals. This event will have many of these rescued pets available for adoption. Along with adoptable animals there will also be delicious food trucks, pet microchipping, vendors, raffles and more!
Last year, the event put the “wow” in “bow wow!” Approximately 8,000 people attended and helped raise awareness for the rescue groups and vendors. More than 50 animals were adopted!
Let your friends know you’re attending by visiting the Barktoberfest Facebook event page.
If you have a Rescue Group or your business would like to participate in BARKTOBERFEST, please visit the Animal Services Partners page.
Also, if you cannot adopt but would like to help, consider fostering! Information about the foster care program can be found here.
