Celebrate The Real Reason For The “Sea”son At SeaWorld Orlando #SeaWorldChristmas

It does NOT feel like Christmas in Orlando. Yesterday was 85 degrees and people are in summer clothes! It doesn’t look like we’ll be pulling out Christmas sweaters anytime soon. Despite the unseasonably hot weather, SeaWorld Orlando helped transform my holiday spirit with their gorgeous Christmas Celebration.

I’ve been to many local holiday celebrations and SeaWorld celebrates the REAL reason of Christmas. If you have not seen O Wondrous Night, it is a must! This stage production tells the story of Jesus’ birth through the eyes of the animals. It’s a beautiful story filled with amazing singing and live animals. I was completely moved by this show and blinked back tears. I would purchase theme park tickets JUST FOR THIS SHOW! Bravo SeaWorld!

My 5 year old son loves the Polar Express movie and one family tradition is watching this classic together. This was the first year my son was tall enough to ride THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience and journey to the North Pole. Talk about creating a holiday memory! His eyes were wide with excitement as we watched movie clips then boarded. The sights, scenes and scents (I could have smelled the evergreen aroma all day) of the season made this experience truly magical. Once we arrived, we saw the most gorgeous Christmas tree and Santa!

The Sea of Trees is absolutely gorgeous! Over 100 trees glisten and sparkle to favorite holiday classics! My photos did not capture the beauty, it really is amazing to see trees on the water dancing to music.

End the night with Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountain finale. Fountains soar and lights dazzle to holiday music. Yet another beautiful part of SeaWorld Christmas that made me reflect on all the blessings in my life.

The Waterfront area is also decorated so beautifully. My little guy was also amazed at the Waterfront Snow Flurries (he’s a Florida boy so snow made of soap is just fine). It was a nice ending to our night at #SeaWorldChristmas.

A big thank you to SeaWorld Orlando for the lovely evening.  In addition to experiencing the above, it was also nice to talk with Terry Prather, President of SeaWorld Orlando and Mike Boos, VP of Zoological Operations. Both are completely passionate about SeaWorld and the animals and reiterated just how many animals SeaWorld has helped rehabilitate and release over the past 50 years.

There are many other Christmas shows and attractions that you’ll also want to check out. We ran out of time and did not have the chance to experience Shamu Christmas Miracles, Winter Wonderland On Ice, Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas, or Elmo’s Christmas Wish.

Also keep in mind, SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration IS INCLUDED in your fun card, annual pass and park admission price (no additional ticket is required). The celebration runs select dates from November 23rd – December 31st.  You can also find tons of “Sea”sonal gifts, I’m thinking a fun card would be a GREAT stocking stuffer (check out THIS amazing fun card deal)!

Disclosure: My family was invited to a media event to help facilitate this blog. No additional compensation was received.
