Marlow’s Tavern celebrates its official grand opening with a week of dining deals and exciting events.  The neighborhood restaurant, which opened its second location in Central Florida in Winter Park on June 25, has planned seven days of exclusive offers and specials from Monday, September 9 through Sunday, September 15.

The grand opening festivities include:

Monday, September 9	Tavern Burger Monday Get a Tavern Burger for only $5 all day
Tuesday, September 10	Insider’s Day All Insiders receive 20% off your total check First 100 guests receive a free T-shirt
Wednesday, September 11	Military Appreciation Show your active or retired military ID for a complimentary appetizer
Thursday, September 12	Rollins Spirit Night Show your Rollins student or faculty ID and receive 20% off your total check Live music starts at 7 p.m.
Friday, September 13	Shot Glass Friday Complimentary M. shot glass for first 250 guests starting at 5 p.m. Live music starts at 7 p.m.

Sunday, September 15	Sunday Brunch Begins Enjoy a selection of our brunch items including Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict, Brooklyn “Egghead” Sandwich and Marlow’s Famous Stuffed French Toast Bottomless Mimosa and ‘infamous’ BLT Bloody Mary features 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Marlow’s Tavern offers chef-inspired American tavern fare in a comfortable and unique atmosphere and is located at 1008 S. Orlando Avenue, just north of the intersection of S. Orlando Avenue (17-92) and N. Orange Avenue in the heart of Winter Park.  The tavern offers local residents a great place to create memorable experiences and enjoy chef-driven food and handcrafted cocktails.

The tavern opens daily at 11:30 a.m. and serves lunch, happy hour, and dinner.  Guests enjoy live entertainment Thursday through Saturday each week beginning at 7 p.m.

Sunday Brunch begins September 15 from 11:30 to 3 p.m. featuring a la carte brunch items and weekly specials.

The tavern features the “best of the best” in classic American tavern fare served in a modern atmosphere.  Menus, created by Executive Chef and Co-founder John C. Metz, offer a diverse combination of classic dishes that are updated and elevated to a gourmet level.   Savory menu selections are filled with plentiful plates that change seasonally depending on the availability of fresh and local ingredients. Menu items range in price from $4.50 to $19.50.

The beverage menu includes a wide variety of wines from around the world – all available by the glass – and a handcrafted cocktail program that combines fresh juices and specialty, small batch liquors in an innovative and approachable way. The beer list is unique and varied, featuring local favorites, craft and import offerings by the bottle and on draft.

“We reinvent classic tavern fare for the 21^st century for our guests by using seasonal, local and regional ingredients.  The Winter Park neighborhood has been very welcoming and hope guests continue to enjoy our fresh, ingredient-focused cuisine and cocktails,” says Metz.

The Winter Park location seats up to 165 guests with indoor seating as well as an all-weather patio.  Marlow’s Tavern is specifically designed with guests’ comfort in mind. The tavern’s warm and inviting interior features exposed brick walls, dark wood accents, large leather booths, communal tables, and an extensive fully covered patio.
