FRAM Fresh Breeze Is Helping Me Kick Allergies In The Face #FresherCar #cbias

Allergies…just saying the word makes my head want to explode. It’s been a tough allergy season for my entire family, we are all in agony and misery.

I personally have been to multiple doctors over the past couple of weeks and have gone through two prescription strength eye drops. I also take a daily allergy pill, decongestants and headache meds. The doctor said to recognize my allergy triggers and avoid. That’s tough when I walk outside and my eyes swell, turn red and tears stream down my face. There’s no way to avoid life with allergies, I am a mom to a very active preschooler and I run a business. In Florida, something is always in bloom so it’s a constant battle for all of us.

When I heard about FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filters made with Arm and Hammer baking soda, my ears perked up! Apparently, these filters help with pollen particles and road dust (I am allergic to pollen and dust) and Walmart conveniently carries them! Plus, I already know from experience that baking soda helps eliminate odors, so the fact these cabin air filters contain it makes me happy.

We have high pollen counts here, so any step I can take to eliminate pollen and dust from the air is crucial! We already use allergen filters inside our home, but truth be told, a car filter never crossed my mind. I do spend a great deal of time inside my car, so that air needs to also be fresh and clean.

I have a 2010 Honda Accord and take it in regularly for service, so my technicians change my filters (I have a pretty strong suspicion they do not use filters with arm and hammer baking soda). So, I decided to go ahead and find FRAM Fresh Breeze filters at Walmart to try to kick these allergies.

Plus, I was excited in a nerdy kind of way to see what my existing filter looks like!

Seriously, installation was a breeze! First of all, I had no clue the cabin air filter was located behind my glove compartment so I am thankful the instructions were very clear! You do not have to pop your hood open and get greasy, it’s an EASY replacement process.

I located the existing air cabin filter and removed it. This is what I saw! No wonder my eyes water and I have allergy attacks while inside my car! Gross.

The next step was inserting my new FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filters made with Arm and Hammer baking soda! But first, check out the side by side comparison.

Just from seeing what the old air filter looked like, I feel confident the newly installed FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filters made with Arm and Hammer baking soda will help preserve freshness inside my car. I even added a “replace cabin air filter” reminder to my personal calendar every 6 months! This product will help my family fight allergies and I plan on buying another FRAM Fresh Breeze filter for my husband’s car.

Does it make a difference? Yes! After experiencing life with a new FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filter, I am happy to report we started feeling the difference almost immediately! My car even smells better (must be the arm & hammer baking soda used inside the FRAM Fresh Breeze filter). We are now breathing fresh air versus dust and pollen polluted air inside my car and allergy attacks have declined! It’s crazy to think the air inside my car can be dirtier than the air outside, well not anymore!

You can see my entire Walmart path to purchase google+ album here. Don’t sweat not knowing which filter to purchase for your car, Walmart has guides to assist.

Also, FRAM is offering a rebate, check out those details here. I have my form ready to mail in so I can receive $3 back!
