The first week of school is almost over, and we have adapted well. The first day was emotional, but by day two we were both fine. He knows I am returning after lunch, so he has no worries. Plus, it is amazing how quickly 4 hours go by!
Yesterday, he was upset when I came to pick him up. He was having such a good time and kept asking why we had to go home. Now THAT makes me happy, it is obvious he is loving school!
We still have our afternoons together, which is nice. I love seeing the crafts he makes and hearing details about his day. My absolute favorite part is listening to his new songs. Sending him to pre-K was a good decision.
