Sunday Shape-Up Report With Medifast Week 4

Is it really the end of week 4 already? I am in shock about the amount of weight I have lost already on the Medifast 5&1 program! I am pulling clothing out of my closet that I haven’t touched in almost 5 years. I never dreamed that in a month, I’d lose as much as I have. Also, I am finally feeling human again from pneumonia and beyond thrilled to have my energy level back up so I can start exercising! My appetite is back too, I found myself hungrier…

Sunday Shape-Up Report With Medifast Week 3

Today concludes week 3 on the Medifast program. This has been a week of misery. Remember that upper respiratory infection I mentioned in my update last week, well turns out I actually have pneumonia. I have had no appetite whatsoever, so thanks to Medifast I was able to eat vitamin packed meals in regular intervals and have a little more energy. My Medifast nutritionist advised me to take care of myself and eat whatever made me feel better or what my body needed. Obviously, my recovery is of utmost importance. I tried my best…

Having pneumonia is no joke…from being sleep deprived, having no energy, coughing non-stop until your insides ache so badly you feel like you’ve been run over by a truck, etc.! I could go on and on. My doctor told me to drink lots of fluids, take my medicine and REST. Easier said than done, I’m not the type of person who enjoys sitting around, even when I do feel horrible. I’m not a tv fan either, but found something that helps me rest…Pinterest! Basically, you “pin” things you love. Let’s…

Sunday Shape-Up Report With Medifast Week 2

Today concludes week 2 on the Medifast program. I have been fighting an upper respiratory infection and taking prescription medicines, so I made sure to drink extra fluids this week (literally, at least 100 ounces each day). I also attempted to rest which is pretty much impossible since I am coughing non-stop (even with prescription cough syrup that is supposed to knock me out) AND I have a very active toddler to chase around. I did find the Medifast Chicken Noodle Soup to be very comforting this week and enjoyed it for lunch…

I received a 5 oz. sample of 100% Natural Muscle Soak Bath Salt by the San Francisco Bath Salt Company and was eager to fill my tub! These salts are made with pure Epsom Salt as well as eucalyptus…
