Back-To-School Shopping At Goodwill Industries of Central Florida #GoodwillBackToSchool

Goodwill Boutique Winter Park

It’s back-to-school season and even though my son is homeschooled, he still needs clothing and supplies for the next school year. I plan my shopping strategy on the tax-free Florida holiday as well as the best places to find bargains! Goodwill Industries of Central Florida tops my list!

I live in Winter Park so the Goodwill Boutique located at 750 N Orange Ave is my favorite Goodwill store to visit. The location is very clean and has excellent customer service.

Goodwill Boutique Winter ParkI am always surprised by the range of kids’ products available! Backpacks, jackets, shoes, clothing, accessories and books can always be found. Speaking of books, that is the first place my son runs to. He’s an avid reader, so we always walk away with at least 5 books each trip!

InsideGoodwillShopping at Goodwill Boutique is like treasure hunting, you never know what you’re going to find! I am always amazed at the designer clothing for sale, brand new with tags. In addition to clothing and shoes, they also offer furniture, electronics, home decor, artwork, toys, books, video games, and jewelry.

Goodwill_BoysDuring tax-free week, Goodwill Boutique was packed! It was wonderful seeing wall-to-wall bargain shoppers grabbing affordable back-to-school clothing. We found two shirts in my son’s size, both were brand new with store tags still intact! Those came home with us as well as a Hot Wheels Lamborghini (new in box) and books!

Goodwill Shopping TripWe made a second Goodwill trip a few days later and snagged more books! It’s fun seeing my son’s face light up when he finds books that interest him. I also love that he enjoys reading some of the same books I did growing up!

BooksFromGoodWillWe are in the process of organizing our closets so we can donate gently used items on our next trip to Goodwill. It warms my heart knowing that donating and shopping at Goodwill funds job training and placement programs that help Central Floridians with disabilities and other barriers to employment find meaningful work

Next time you feel like shopping for affordable items and helping out your local community, I highly encourage you to check out Goodwill Industries of Central Florida

Disclosure: Goodwill Industries of Central Florida provided me with gift certificates in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own.
