Clearwater Marine Aquarium continues its free Making Waves speaker series February 19 with Dan Larremore, Environmental Specialist for Honeymoon Island State Park.

Dan will be discussing the importance of monitoring and protecting shorebirds on the Gulf Coast and the environmental responsibility we have for these animals. These rare shorebirds, including the American oystercatcher and the snowy plover can be seen nesting on our Tampa Bay beaches.

This free speaker series is geared towards anyone wanting to learn more about marine life and is open to all ages.
