For Day 15 of #30DaysOfCaring, today is all about Giving Tuesday! We’ve already experienced Black Friday and Cyber Monday trying to grab incredible deals, now it’s time to focus on giving back! On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
#GivingTuesday was founded in 2012 by New York’s 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations Foundation. Together, with a team of influencers and founding partners, they launched a global movement that has engaged over 10,000 organizations worldwide.
Pick your favorite charity and give today whether it is donating money or supplies, volunteering, spreading awareness, etc.! Just get involved and show your generosity. Keep in mind, many sponsors are doubling your donation dollars! If you need some suggestions, check out my #30DayOfCaring post that is highlighting some deserving organizations.
