On May 10th, more than 300,000 pounds of nonperishable food was collected during the “Stamp Out Hunger” letter carrier food drive. Thanks to everyone who left non-perishable food for your mailman! Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida hosted Family Night earlier this week and approximately 60 volunteers helped sort those letter carrier donations.
In two hours, we sorted 3 tons of food and made boxes for hungry families! Yes you read that correctly…3 tons!
I highly encourage you to get involved and help feed hope now.
