Disclosure: Babies “R” Us provided a $50 gift card for my personal use, no additional compensation has been received.
Baby’s First Christmas is a special time in a family’s life filled with memories, traditions, and photos. My son is 5, but I will never forget his first Christmas and how special it was.
On Christmas Eve, my family celebrated in Orlando then we jumped on a plane to surprise our family in Virginia. No one had a clue we’d show up on their doorstep Christmas day, so seeing the confusion then tears of joy was simply amazing. It was the best first Christmas since we were able to surprise and share our 8 month old baby with our family so far away.
We also have family traditions that make Christmas special. We attend holiday events that make the season feel right, have family cartoon night, send Christmas cards to our loved ones, etc. My absolute favorite Christmas tradition is decorating gingerbread cookies. My son loves this tradition and letting his creativity shine through (and of course eating the cookie is a great reward)!
