Check your medicine cabinet, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is recalling 200,000 bottles of Motrin Infants formula. This recall affects three lots of its popular Motrin Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor, which is used to lower fever and treat aches and pains in children 2 years old and younger. The medicine may be contaminated with specs of PTFE, a plastic also used in Teflon coatings.

Check your half-ounce bottles, the recalled products can be identified by the following lot numbers:

  • DCB3T01

J&J has asked for these affected products to be taken off retail shelves (but still be cautious and check lot numbers when purchasing)!

What should you do if you have a contaminated product? STOP using the affected medicine and call the company for a refund at 1-877-414-7709.
