This week, my son started preschool. He was excited to meet his new friends and experience his classroom!
He eagerly jumped out of the car. He was annoyed I wanted another photo, he was missing valuable playground time!
I have been on an emotional roller coaster. After 4 years and 4 months of being home with him, even a few hours apart seems so weird. It’s odd not running to the park/playground, visiting the library, playing Legos with him or reading. But, he is thriving (as I knew he would).
Day 1, I was pretty emotional, but this is how I spent day 2.
In all fairness, I have not had a cut in 8 months, so this was WAY overdue. Now I actually have a little me time! But, most importantly…I have eBay time. Time to start gearing up for the holidays!
My world was happy again when I picked him up, even though he asked “why do I have to go mommy, I want to stay”. I guess that is a GOOD sign!
