Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches Are Perfect Snacks #CBIAS #TysonGoodness

Finding an after school snack that doesn’t wreck your kids appetite or nutrition is tough. I can remember arriving home from school and grabbing anything and everything in sight! I pretty much drove my mom insane. I have now found my “go to” snack that makes kids of all ages happy, Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches! These little gems have been a lifesaver for me during the holidays! They can be made QUICKLY when you are trying to run out the door for holiday parties, programs and shopping.

When I heard about Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches, I knew we had to try them! Our family has been on the go lately with Christmas festivities, so having a delicious snack to provide extra energy for all those activities is important! We already love Tyson’s 100% natural chicken nuggets since they are crispy, tender and juicy! My toddler prefers Tyson’s over fast food nuggets which makes me very happy considering they are all natural!

After using the product locator to verify our local Wal-Mart carries Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches, I added them to my i-phone shopping list and hopped in the car with my kid! I was also excited to see this special offer: Buy 2 Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches at a participating Walmart and receive a $5 Walmart Gift Card. Tyson offers two types: plain or cheese. If you take advantage of the offer, why not grab one of each?

Once we were home from our holiday shopping and quick trip to Wal-Mart (Wal-Mart was our final stop since we were wiped out from fighting mall crowds), we desperately needed a snack! We knew the Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches would be perfect! I opened the box and popped the bag right into the microwave. In just a few minutes, our snack was ready. I added some fresh vegetables to the plate (organic carrots and tomatoes) and just like that…we had a delicious snack to nibble on. I actually split the sandwich in half and shared it with my son. The taste reminds me of one of my favorite breakfast items, a chicken biscuit. So, not only would these be perfect as a snack but also for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

You can be very creative with these sandwiches. For delicious simplicity, add some fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and your favorite condiment! My next Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwich snack will have a gourmet touch with raspberry jelly, blue cheese crumbles and chopped walnuts! They are tasty and convenient, your entire family will love them!

  1. Love those sandwiches. Great write up!

  2. Melanie

Nutritious? Really? Do you actually read the label or just take the advertising at face value? First, these daily values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet…for an adult. Compare those values with what is actually recommended for children and you realize you’ve been sold a bag of goods. These are LOADED with sodium. Recommended amount for a child your son’s age is between 1000-1500 mg. It’s no wonder the US is suffering from health epidemics, such as heart disease, hypertension, obesity and the like. Convenience foods and the people who buy them are a big part of the problem. You’re a stay at home mom…maybe you ought to stay at home and make your kid a nutritious lunch.

  3. Wow Melanie (IF that’s even your real name) judgmental much? I did not realize by occasionally purchasing a processed food product that I am a monster. You neglected to point out that these snack sandwiches were accompanied by organic vegetables, it’s not like I served them with a side of bacon fat!

As for your class-less comment “maybe you ought to stay at home and make your kid a nutritious lunch”, don’t make assumptions. I’d be happy to provide you with my weekly Whole Foods receipts so you can see that I spend a small fortune making sure my family eats healthy! Also, just because I am a stay at home mom doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to leave my house and have a life (again, the blog stated I was Christmas shopping with my family).

I wonder how Hilton Grand Vacations will feel when they find out you are surfing the net and leaving nasty comments on blogs instead of doing the job they pay you to do? Perhaps you should think about that before judging others!
