Last night, I attended a mom blogger social media meet-up at CAFÉ TU TU TANGO. The line-up included: MySentimentExactLee who brought along some friends and writers; Mama B; Double Duty Mommy; and The Rebel Chick . This was my first visit in almost 4 years (last time I ate there, I was pregnant and fighting off a pretty bad case of morning sickness). I honestly forgot how fun the place is from the music, live entertainment and unique art! The service is excellent and the food, well simply delicious!
I love appetizers and trying a little bite of this and that. Everything served at CAFÉ TU TU TANGO is appetizer-sized portions that are perfect for sharing. The kind folks at CAFÉ TU TU TANGO brought out a variety of dishes for us to pass around. We also purchased items that caught our attention off their enormous menu! We all had our phones out snapping photos and live tweeting from the event.
I honestly enjoyed everything I tried, but the Baked Goat Cheese and Marinara Dip, Gator Bites, Famous Cajun Chicken Egg Rolls and Sesame Seared Tuna Sashimi ranked highest on my list.
Oh, and their award winning Sangria is quite lovely – it is an authentic recipe from Barcelona, Spain: Red or White Wine, Fruit Juices, Spanish Brandy, Triple Sec, Gin, and Fresh Fruit. You must try it!
I was so full, I didn’t even have room for a bite of dessert. I saw the following temptations all around me: Chocolate Dipped Cheesecake Lollipops, Brownie Sundae, Banana Pizza, Chocolate Calzone, and Almond Flan, but I stayed strong (trust me, it was hard)!
Below are photos from our evening (click to enlarge).
For locals and those visiting Orlando, a trip to CAFÉ TU TU TANGO will be an experience that you won’t forget! I highly recommend a visit, tell them The Unemployed Mom sent you!
