Sand Gone Review & Giveaway

Living in Florida, there is obviously sand all around. One of the very reasons I do not visit the beach often is because I hate carrying sand back to Orlando. It’s amazing how you can dry off with a towel yet sand continues to stick to your body. A day of beach fun turns into a day of work: washing sand-filled towels and clothing, vacuuming the car, scrubbing floors to remove the sand trail.
I recently received a product for review called Sand Gone. What is it? It is an essential for all beach goers! Basically it is a dry shower in a jar! Inside the screw top lid, you will find a microfiber applicator that is soft and durable. Get this…it can be cleaned in your washing machine and dried in the dryer if and when necessary! The applicator has a convenient strap which allows the user to secure it on their hand while they apply the lovely coconut scented powder.
Most importantly, the white powder is non-toxic and non-talc so it is safe for your family! Finally, say goodbye to salt and sand that sticks to you after a day at the beach! No more itchy and scratchy car rides home!
Some additional information directly from Sand Gone:
Sand gone is a dry body powder that when applied to sandy parts of your body removes the sand leaving your skin soft and smooth.. Works great on children after playing in sand box. Sand Gone comes in a 8 oz container with a powder puff for easy application. The scent is coconut.
We do not have a sandbox for the very same reasons mentioned above. BUT, if we did have a sandbox, this product would be something I would always keep on hand!
Since my review is time sensitive, I wasn’t able to make a trip to the beach to try the product on a sand covered body. The sample sent over by the nice folks at Sand Gone included a bag of sand which I couldn’t wait to rub all over my arm. Guess what, SAND GONE WORKS just as described! Simply amazing!
