I have lived in Orlando and been a Disney annual pass holder for almost 10 years. In that time frame, I never knew about Disney Kids’ Centers. Perhaps it’s because I am new to the whole parenting scene, but I just came across this valuable information and plan on using it when my son is 3 AND potty trained!
If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World and are wondering if you and your spouse can have a child free night (if your children are between ages 3 – 12), the answer is YES! Thank you Walt Disney World! Not only do you make magic happen for children but also for parents!
Supervised child care includes video games, arts & crafts, Disney movies, dinner, board games and activities. Hours are 4:30 p.m.-midnight daily (ages 3-12, toilet trained). Cost is $11.50 per child per hour (minimum 2 hours). You do not have to be staying at a Disney resort to use these services. Walk-ins are welcome; however, reservations are encouraged (you can make a reservation by calling 407-WDW-DINE). Kids’ Centers are located at the following resorts:
- Simba’s Clubhouse at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Never Land Club at Disney’s Polynesian Resort
- Cub’s Den at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Sandcastle Club at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club
- Mouseketeer Club at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Camp Dolphin at Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Resorts
My husband and I have NEVER had a child free night, so you KNOW we will be using this service regularly next year. The reservation number is already programmed into my speed dial!
