Yes, here we are…still NOT using the potty appropriately. This morning I tried to give my son a little encouragement with Elmo’s Potty Time video. Well, it worked. He dragged his potty chair into the living room so he could sit on it while watching the video.
It’s comical, he goes into the bathroom and acts like he’s using the potty while fully clothed. I praise him for at least showing some interest. Also, he has learned that pushing it around can be really fun, especially if you make truck noises! Sigh.
Anyway, when we are ready to focus on potty training again (which I do not see happening anytime soon), I’m going to make that potty chair disappear and he’s going to start using the regular toilet!
