My son is such a tattletale! Funny thing is, he tattles on HIMSELF! It’s the most precious thing ever, he will come around the corner with his hands over his mouth, look me straight in the eyes and say “uh oh”. In most instances, he hasn’t behaved badly at all. He was exploring and moved something that he didn’t think he should have or found an object lying on the floor that didn’t belong there (perhaps a leaf or a piece of paper).
I play along with him and say “what did you do” and he takes me right to whatever it is. I always say “thank you for letting me know” and he claps with excitement. I’m wondering when he will start hiding things from me or blaming the dog.
