Parents, please be advised that Stork Crib has recalled more than 2.1 million cribs due to infant entrapment and suffocation. This recall includes Stork Craft drop-down side cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between January 1993 and October 2009. This is the LARGEST recall in U.S. crib history!
If you have one of the recalled cribs, stop using the product immediately and contact Stork Craft to receive the free repair kit. Even though it may be an inconvenience to relocate your baby to a safe sleeping location, it is important to NOT become another statistic! This information makes me shiver and takes me back to the recent Maclaren stroller recall. Does it really take more than one incident before consumers are informed? These are our children, their lives are NOT to be gambled with! The government needs higher safety regulations when it comes to baby products.
